ABOUT THE JOB:
Cypark Resources Berhad is actively involved in the development of Large-Scale Solar (LSS) projects nationwide. We are seeking an Engineer, Design (Electrical) to support the electrical design, documentation, and coordination activities for renewable energy projects, providing hands-on exposure across the project lifecycle.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Design & Engineering Support
- Assist in preparing electrical designs for LSS projects, including PV layouts, DC/AC sizing, inverters, transformers, and Balance of Plant (BOP).
- Support the preparation of Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), grounding layouts, cable routing, and protection schemes.
- Assist in basic engineering calculations and simulations under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Ensure designs comply with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) requirements, Malaysian Grid Code, IEC, and MS standards.
2.Project Coordination
- Provide technical support during feasibility studies, tender preparation, and contractor evaluations.
- Coordinate with civil, structural, and mechanical teams to ensure design alignment.
- Assist site teams during construction, testing, and commissioning activities by addressing technical queries.
- Support the review of EPC contractor drawings and submissions for accuracy and completeness.
3.Compliance & Documentation
- Prepare and maintain technical documents, drawings, and reports for internal records and regulatory submissions.
- Ensure proper documentation control and audit readiness in line with company procedures.
- Support safety, quality, and environmental compliance activities.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
Experience: Fresh graduate or up to 2 years of relevant experience in electrical design, renewable energy, or engineering projects
Technical Mastery:
- Basic knowledge of solar PV systems and electrical power systems.
- Familiarity with engineering software such as AutoCAD, PVSyst, ETAP, or equivalent is an advantage.
- Awareness of related Malaysia regulations and requirements is a plus.

Flexibility: Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
