JOB SUMMARY
- To provide support to the Head of WTP Strategic Operations Unit and assist in WTPs production management activities to ensure that output, quality and customer service targets and standards are achieved.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
WTP Strategic Operations
- Govern the establishment, release, usage, quality and performance of the Production Information System (ProdIS);
- Provide daily support on ProdIS-related issues such as user registration, data and connectivity issues, cross-platform synchronization issue, etc;
- Report preparation includes Daily Production Report, monthly joint certification (MJC), and monthly report for onward submission to Management.
- Collaboration with report owners, internal key user community to achieve Best Practice transparency among different WTP sites.
- Responsible to plan and liaise with WTPs representative, SPAN, and other related parties regarding yearly or any BSR meter verification for all WTPs.
- Participate in evaluation/assessment for quotation / tender exercise upon submission by contractors/tenderer.
- Provide technical analysis/engineering solution and test development to support performance improvement initiative.
- Cross collaboration with internal & external team in the opportunity for continual improvement in increased quality, productivity, efficiency and cost savings.
- Crisis management provide support to the Regional and WTP team and inter-departmental collaboration during crisis.
- Responsible to update, compile, verify and produce daily/monthly/yearly reports (i.e.: daily production, joint certification, interruption etc) for all WTPs and manage the distribution of report dissemination (internal and external) in a timely manner.
- Responsible to prepare raw Raw Water Abstraction Report for Lembaga Urus Air Selangor on Monthly Basis.
- Prepare and submit the Laporan Hentitugas LRA akibat Pencemaran Air Mentah to SPAN on quarterly basis.
- Develop digital solutions (Applications and Dashboards) to assist internal team, WTP team and inter-departmental support.
- Prepare and supporte PowerPoint reports for internal teams and cross-departmental units, ensuring effective presentations for both internal and external reporting.
Minimum Qualifications
- Degree in any engineering discipline or equivalent in Civil / Chemical / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of one 1-2 years experience in engineering and operations works
Knowledge
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Power App, Power BI, Power Automate, etc) and application development platforms.
- Excellent understanding on Federal Acts and State Enactments related to Water Supply:
- Water Services Industry Act 2006.
- Environment Quality Act 1974.
- Lembaga Urus Air Selangor Enactment 1999.
