Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Develop and maintain code, and participate in code reviews
- Troubleshoot and help resolve technical issues in collaboration with development team members, domain architects, and support team
- Document and estimate tasks in user stories and design use cases to meet acceptance criteria and sprint goals.
- Collaborate with developers, platform SRE, and architects to identify and prioritize system improvements, and develop solutions to meet business needs
- Assist the application owner to facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective
- Assist the application owner and RTE to coordinate the release calendar of the application
- Write and maintain the application documentation, such as functional specs, use cases, user onboarding process
- Track the metrics, generate and evaluate regular reports regarding the assigned applications usage, sprint progress
- Identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging techniques in areas such as collaboration, development, implementation, technical documentation, agile practices, etc
Your Profile
Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed
- Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering or a similar technical subject
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in related fields
- Motivation to work with diverse and remote Agile teams, and to maintain a strong virtual team culture
- Experience working with multiple, cross-functional teams and stakeholders is preferred
- Experience working in collaboration platforms (e.g Jira/AzureDevOps and Confluence) is preferred
- Experience with semantic XML content management, information architecture, content workflows, and content delivery in multiple formats (HTML, PDF, XML, etc.) is preferred
- Knowledge of oXygen application frameworks and component content management systems is preferred
- Knowledge of DITA Specification, DITA Open Toolkit, and XML development is preferred
- Strong interest in understanding agile principles and practices, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and remove impediments
Fluent in the English language
