Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and monitor the Company's commercial and contractual agreements, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and maintaining proper contract records.
  • Coordinate billing and invoicing activities with key counterparties, including customers, suppliers, and service providers, to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Support the review, preparation, and management of contractual correspondence, notices, amendments, renewals, and commercial documentation.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on commercial and contractual matters, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution of issues.
  • Monitor contract performance, identify contractual and commercial risks, and recommend appropriate mitigation measures to management.
  • Assist in the management of claims, disputes, warranty matters, and contractual issues, including the preparation of supporting documentation and records.
  • Prepare commercial reports, management updates, contract status reports, and presentations to support business and operational decision-making.
  • Support corporate initiatives, including risk management, insurance administration, refinancing exercises, audits, and other commercial activities as assigned by Management.
  • Assist in coordinating operational activities and supporting the implementation of business initiatives and projects.
  • Support the planning, monitoring, and reporting of operational and project-related activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Business, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in contract administration, commercial management, or a related field.
  • Experience in the power, utilities, oil & gas, renewable energy, or infrastructure industry will be an added advantage.
  • Sound knowledge of commercial contracts, contract administration, billing processes, and contractual compliance.
  • Exposure to PPA, GSA, LTSA, OMA, FSA, EPCC, or similar large-scale project agreements is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and report-writing skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
