Engineer - Sales Support

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the sales organization and customers throughout the proposal process by preparing technical descriptions of the applied products and technology, determining costs, preparing final documentation, and serving as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also manage project-related documentation to ensure effective version control, customer document transmissions, according to contractual agreements and the effective status tracking for all project documents, claims information

This role is contributing to the Motion Induction OIM Business in Malaysia.

• You will be mainly accountable for: Assist Sales and customers with technically appropriate, cost-effective solutions prepare demanding offers provide technical support in meetings, presentations, and negotiations deliver product training and manage warranty claims with proper documentation and follow-up.
• Prepare technical/commercial offers based on customer requirements and factory inputs participate in project kick-off meetings and contribute to risk review processes in line with company policy.
• Analyze customer needs and competitor offers manage project documentation with proper version control, compliance, and retrieval in the document management system.
• Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders monitor project progress, update schedules, and ensure alignment with planned timelines

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical & Electronic or equivalent).
• Preferably 2-5 years of working experience in the induction motor business.
• Independent, proactive, self-driven, resourceful, organized, and results-oriented.
• Strong team player with the ability to carry out tasks effectively under minimal supervision.
• Pleasant personality with excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia proficiency in other languages is an added advantage.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel as required.
