Engineering, Assistant Manager cum BIM Manager

We are representing our client, a well renowned construction company in search for an experienced BIM Manager to support their ongoing projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with the project team and other stakeholders to propose architectural layouts, develop 2D drawings and 3D models, and prepare architectural presentations for tender processes.
• Leading a team of outsourced BIM coordinators and modelers to develop and execute the BIM Execution Plan.
• Advising the project manager of contract requirements and legal implications, and managing project correspondence and effective communications with various stakeholders.
• Planning and ensuring that project implementations are carried out according to construction programs, while monitoring sub-contractors progress and facilitating their progress to expedite completion.
• Providing technical expertise to support construction activities, including daily supervision and coordination of all architectural and BIM implementations on-site.
• Ensuring compliance with building regulations, codes, and standards, including health and safety regulations, as well as managing project-related documentation, such as permits, approvals, contracts, and invoices.
• Producing coordinated construction shop drawings and submitting them for approval, as well as reviewing drawings from various trades in the construction stage and facilitating the submission process.
• Liaising with various consultants and understanding their design intention, implementing their design ideas accordingly and preparing any necessary construction method statement and technical proposal to ensure a smooth transition of works.

Requirement:

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture

Familiar with AutoCAD, Revit, Naviswork Manage will be added advantage
