Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Penang, Malaysia for an Engineering Cum Quality Executive. The role involves overseeing quality control processes, conducting quality audits, implementing quality management systems, and analyzing production workflows. Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with industry standards, identifying areas for improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve quality objectives.

Requirements

• Degree holder in Chemical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering discipline
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in metal surface treatment or production environment (At least 1-2 years in a senior role such as Senior QA/QC Engineer is an advantage)
• Experience in process improvement, cycle-time reduction, or productivity improvement initiatives
• Knowledge of QC processes, inspection methods, and product acceptance criteria
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001; exposure to ISO 14001/ISO 45001 is an added advantage
• Experience supporting internal audits and external/customer audits
• Able to manage manpower allocation and coordinate daily task distribution effectively
• Able to escalate technical or quality issues clearly to Manager level
• Basic knowledge of EHS practices and chemical handling requirements
• Basic computer skills in MS Excel & MS Word
• Experience in preparing 8D report for quality-related issue
• Familiar with motion-times measurement engineering
• Hand-on in chemical handling & test analysis
• Firm personalities
• Assist with any other tasks or duties assigned by supervisors or management
• Prefer candidates fluent in Mandarin

*Salary Range: RM 4,500.00 to 5,000.00 (Depends on working experience)

*Transport Allowance: RM 150.00

*Telephone Allowance: RM 50.00

*Working Day: Monday to Friday – 8.00am to 5pm (at present is 4pm)
