Our client specializes in manufacturing high-quality valves for various industrial applications. They are now seeking for experienced Engineering Inspection Technician to join their team.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage and analyze quality inspection work such as incoming inspection, in-process inspection, and final inspection.
- Prepare quality reports (rejection, non-conforming reports, complaints) on products or parts to suppliers.
- Assist the Design Section in conducting inspection, research, and development on newly developed parts and products.
- Confirm and execute the inspection flow.
- Plan and coordinate matters related to on-site inspection.
- Prepare and issue inspection reports with quality control documents such as test certificates and mill certificates to customers.
- Plan, manage, and update the control of inspection equipment (jigs and tools for inspection).
- Draft and prepare inspection procedures.
- Provide education/training to quality inspectors.
- Assist other sections in the Engineering Department with daily operations and work.
- Assist the Design Section in preparing technical, product, and parts drawings.
- Assist in recording, compiling, and following up on product quality issues and parts supplier complaints.
- Assist in the revision and amendment of instruction manuals to further enhance efficiency and improve parts machining quality.
- Conduct maintenance of machines/facilities.
- Conduct site service and maintenance at customer premises.
Job Requirements
- Must possess at least a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or a similar field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a quality inspection or quality control role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Possess analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret quality data and implement corrective actions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Willing to travel to outstation for site service.
