The Engineering Intern will support the operations and engineering team in day-to-day activities, including process improvement, equipment maintenance, and project execution. This role provides hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment and exposure to industrial best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring and improving production processes to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Support preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
- Participate in data collection and analysis for process optimization.
- Assist in preparing technical documentation, reports, and SOPs.
- Create and update technical drawings using AutoCAD for projects and equipment layouts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on engineering projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
- Basic understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
- Proficient in AutoCAD for technical drawings and design work.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
