Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering delivery, ensuring product quality, speed, and reliability.
• Establish and maintain engineering standards, including code quality, testing, and best practices.
• Lead, coach, and develop engineers to build a high-performing team.
• Make technical decisions that balance delivery speed, quality, and long-term maintainability.
• Identify and resolve technical blockers, technical debt, and potential risks.
• Align team capacity and engineering priorities with product and business objectives.
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
• Collaborate closely with product, QA, and project teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Communicate technical concepts and project progress clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of engineering experience, including 4 years in a team lead or management role.
• Strong hands-on engineering background with experience building and delivering products.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop engineering teams.
• Strong technical knowledge in backend, frontend, or full-stack development.
• Good decision-making skills with the ability to balance technical quality and business priorities.
• Strong communication skills, particularly in explaining technical matters to non-technical stakeholders.
• High standards for engineering quality, accountability, and team performance.
