Engineering Manager

We are looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager who thrives in startup environments, enjoys building products from scratch, and can take complete ownership of engineering, people, and product delivery.

Startup Founder experience is must.

What You'll Do

• Own the entire engineering function and technology roadmap.
• Drive product development from idea, architecture, development, launch, and scale.
• Lead and mentor a team of high-performing backend and full-stack engineers.
• Partner closely with founders, product, and business teams to translate vision into execution.
• Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, review processes, and delivery frameworks.
• Build scalable, secure, and reliable healthcare technology products.
• Take data-driven decisions and balance speed with technical excellence.
• Hire and scale engineering teams as the company grows.
• Create a strong ownership-driven engineering culture.

Technical Requirements:-

• Strong software engineering background in Python.
• Deep expertise in FastAPI (mandatory).
• Strong experience with Django, Django REST Framework (DRF), Flask, and modern Python ecosystem.
• Experience designing scalable microservices and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, and NoSQL technologies.
• Hands-on exposure to CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud-native architectures.
• Strong API design and backend architecture experience.

Ideal Background

• Ex-Founder, Co-Founder, Founding Engineer, Engineering Lead, or Engineering Manager from a startup ecosystem.
• Experience working in Seed, Series A, or early-growth startups.
• Proven track record of building products from 0 → 1 and scaling them.
• Comfortable handling ambiguity and wearing multiple hats.
• Experience taking complete ownership of engineering outcomes.
• Strong leadership, hiring, and stakeholder management skills.
