About Your Role

The Enterprise Business Development Manager is responsible for driving new logo enterprise opportunities within the BPO/PPO/RPO space. This professional will focus on proactive prospecting, relationship development, and opportunity qualification across target accounts.

This is a revenue-producing, relationship-driven role not a strategy ownership or functional leadership position.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Identify and develop qualified enterprise opportunities
  • Build relationships with mid- to senior-level decision makers within TA, HR, and Procurement
  • Create access to buying groups
  • Advance opportunities through the sales cycle
  • Partner with Kelly SMEs and sales leadership to structure and close deals
  • This role does not own go-to-market strategy, pricing architecture, or solution design. Instead, the individual will leverage internal resources to support deal strategy and solution development.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new logo enterprise opportunities within defined target markets
  • Conduct outbound prospecting to build a qualified pipeline
  • Develop relationships within TA, HR, Procurement, and Operations leadership
  • Maintain 35x pipeline coverage aligned to assigned revenue targets
  • Drive disciplined pipeline management and forecasting

Relationship Development & Opportunity Advancement

  • Build credibility with mid- to senior-level stakeholders
  • Uncover workforce challenges, talent acquisition gaps, and operational inefficiencies
  • Qualify opportunities using defined sales methodology
  • Navigate multi-stakeholder buying environments
  • Position Kelly capabilities aligned to identified client needs

Deal Collaboration & Execution

  • Partner with internal SMEs (Operations, Solution Design, Pricing, Finance) to support opportunity development
  • Participate in internal deal review sessions under the direction of sales leadership
  • Support development of client-facing materials and business cases
  • Assist in managing RFP processes and proposal submissions
  • Contribute to contract negotiation discussions alongside sales leadership

Market Engagement

  • Maintain working knowledge of workforce outsourcing models and staffing industry trends
  • Represent Kelly in client meetings, networking events, and industry engagements
  • Gather competitive intelligence and share insights with leadership

Transition & Handoff

  • Support smooth transition of newly closed accounts to implementation teams
  • Maintain relationships during early-stage onboarding to strengthen long-term opportunity

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of total professional experience
  • Minimum 5 years of enterprise-level sales experience within staffing, RPO, BPO, MSP, or workforce solutions
  • Demonstrated success in new logo acquisition
  • Experience selling into enterprise organizations with multi-stakeholder buying groups
  • Experience engaging TA, HR, or Procurement decision makers
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to build pipeline through proactive outreach
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

Preferred Experience

  • Experience selling complex outsourcing engagements
  • Exposure to RFP-driven sales environments
  • Knowledge of workforce technology platforms (ATS, VMS, HRIS integrations)
  • Experience in staffing or managed services environments
