Role Purpose

The Enterprise Head of Digital Platforms will lead the end-to-end execution, continuous availability, and overall performance of enterprise-scale digital platforms. This position is responsible for bridging digital strategy with operational execution—ensuring high-velocity feature delivery while maintaining peak system stability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Digital Delivery Leadership: Oversee the delivery lifecycle for core digital platforms and applications, driving roadmap execution to improve release velocity and market responsiveness.
• Operational Resilience: Govern 24/7 platform operations, defining and maintaining strict standards for service availability, incident management, disaster recovery, and system reliability.
• Engineering & Delivery Governance: Establish modern delivery practices (Agile, DevOps, automated quality engineering) across cross-functional squads to drive high deployment quality and operational efficiency.
• Strategic & Financial Stewardship: Manage project/operational budgets, vendor partnerships, and resource allocation to optimize transactional costs and digital infrastructure spending.
• Talent & Team Capability: Build, mentor, and upskill multi-disciplinary teams across software development, platform operations, and digital engineering.
• Governance & Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with key business leaders, technology groups, and external regulatory or partner bodies to ensure full compliance and alignment with group objectives.

Key Requirements

• Experience: Extensive technology leadership experience within financial services, banking, or large-scale digital environments, with a proven track record in digital platform delivery and operations.
• Technical Acumen: Strong background in microservices architectures, cloud platforms, mobile applications, API ecosystems, and modern software engineering practices.
• Operational Expertise: Deep familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles, ITIL frameworks, high-availability architecture, and production incident response.
• Leadership Skills: Proven capability to lead multi-functional teams, manage high-value technology portfolios, and influence senior executive stakeholders.
• Eligibility: Open to local Malaysian citizens or expatriates holding a valid Residence Pass-Talent (RPT).
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
