Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage site EHS section operations, and responsible for section budget, goals and performance.
- Participate in the development and implementation of corporate-wide EHS policies and standards, goals, and communication.
- Develop and implement site EHS programs, practices and procedures to meet site EHS goals and corporate EHS goals.
- Lead site in compliance with laws and regulations associated with site EHS issues, and ISO14001 & OSHAS18001.
- Be accountable for all projects assigned to the section and provide support and consultant to assigned engineer to be sure of the delivery.
- Ensure EHS participation in problem identification and resolution as appropriate.
- Be involved in appropriate groups and individuals in identification and resolution as appropriate.
- Lead and participate in plant wide cross initiative to promote EHS awareness, and total involvement culture. Such as EHS committee, compliance initiative.
- Train, develop and retain staff
- Other working tasks assigned by supervisor.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above in engineering of safety or environment, or equivalent.
- Good oral and written skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Possess 35 years Environment, Health & Safety expertise experience in a high paced environment (Manufacturing).
- Registered as Safety & Health Officer is an additional advantage.
- Professional certification in health, safety or environment.
