Job Description

Company Background:

Our client is a global leader in the design and manufacturing of automotive seat motors, dedicated to enhancing vehicle comfort. To strengthen its global presence, the company is establishing a new plant in Senai, Malaysia. With continuous investment in R&D, our client delivers high-quality, efficient, and innovative products while striving for industry leadership and excellence in service.

Core Objective:

Responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Lijin die casting, stamping, and injection molding machines to ensure stable production operation and minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair for Lijin machines (DCC/ DC series die casting, JH/servo presses, IS injection machines).
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns arrive on-site within 30 minutes and resolve common issues within 2 hours.
  • Execute monthly/quarterly/annual preventive maintenance (lubrication, oil/filter checks, calibration, and replacement of wear parts).
  • Monitor machine health using PLC and sensors, identify potential faults early, and reduce unplanned downtime.
  • Support production trials and process improvements; adjust equipment settings to improve yield and quality.
  • Lead improvement projects for recurring issues (e.g., hydraulic system optimization, control upgrades).
  • Manage spare parts inventory and ensure repair tools and safety compliance.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or above in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years hands-on maintenance experience with Lijin die casting/stamping/injection molding machines.
  • Strong knowledge of machine structure, hydraulic and electrical control (PLC, inverter systems).
  • Able to read technical manuals and schematics in English; skilled in diagnostic tools (multimeter, pressure gauge, oscilloscope).
  • Experience in Malaysian manufacturing industry preferred; valid electrical or hydraulic technician license is an advantage.
  • Strong troubleshooting, teamwork, and communication skills; able to work under pressure and ensure safety and quality.

Working hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5.30pm

Salary: Up to RM5000
