We are currently looking for a driven and customer‑focused Equipment Finance – Business Manager based in Penang.

In this role, you will play a key part in driving sales performance, strengthening vendor partnerships, and delivering seamless equipment financing solutions to our customers. You will act as the front line in business development while ensuring strong credit and documentation processes.

As an Equipment Finance – Business Manager, you will:
Sales & Business Development
- Drive sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) through proactive business development activities.
- Execute sales strategies to achieve assigned budgets and grow the equipment finance portfolio.
- Enhance and maintain strong relationships with equipment vendors to generate sustainable business leads.
Credit Management & Loan Processing
- Prepare and manage end‑to‑end loan submissions, including data input, document uploads, and responses to credit approval queries.
- Collect and consolidate required information for credit assessment and liaise closely with internal credit teams.
- Communicate credit decisions to customers and negotiate revised terms where required.
Documentation & Funding Support
- Issue letters of undertaking to vendors and coordinate loan agreement preparation and execution.
- Ensure hire purchase agreements and related documentation are properly completed.
- Work with settlement and funding teams to ensure timely disbursement of approved loans.
- Manage FIS e‑Hakmilik registration for new and used commercial vehicles and material handling equipment.
Cross‑functional Collaboration & Brand Advocacy
- Cross‑sell corporate programmes to equipment finance customers to promote the BMW brand and support overall vehicle sales.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and high customer satisfaction throughout the financing lifecycle.
What should you bring along
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related disciplines.
- 1–3 years of relevant working experience in Sales or Financial Services.
- Knowledge of equipment financing, financial services products, or credit risk management is an advantage.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Good command of English (written and spoken); proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage but not mandatory.
- A self‑driven, disciplined team player who performs well with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative and solution‑oriented mindset.
