We are looking for Equipment Operator 3 to help with the operation of coiled tubing equipment, rig up and rig down equipment, perform maintenance of equipment, maintain and submit drivers logs and time sheets in a timely fashion, and follow required safety and operational procedures.
This position will be based in Kemaman, Terengganu.
Offshore Operations
- Assists in the running of a job
- Assembles and prepares equipment for installation and service
- Maintains general housekeeping, clean up, repair, and preparation of equipment for the next job
- Operates Batch Mixer, Singlke Pump and Nitrogen Unit including Coiled Tubing support equipment (Flowback Package)
- To supervise other additional job which not involve coiled tubing
- Performs and complete preventative maintenance on all Coiled Tubing associated equipment.
- Assist in rig-ups / rig-downs as well as operation of all equipment during a job. Assist with maintenance of equipment, replenishment of stores and general housekeeping while in the shop.
- Perform scheduled maintenance on assigned equipment
- Makes instruction on how to operate tools and equipment utilized on the job and in the shop. Specifically learn to independently operate and maintain downhole tools
- Perform task requirement and update all relevant document into Competency Management System (CMS).
- Perform pre/post job equipment inspections. Specifically, perform pre-trip vehicular inspection.
- Ensure that all hi-pressure iron is banded with a current inspection date
- Follow instructions for spotting equipment on location
- Responsible for safe crane and rigging operations during the delivery of services in accordance with Customer's design and KPI's.
- Performs hydrostatic testing on Blow Out Prevention (BOP)and reels during pre/post job procedures including Preventive Maintenance (PM's)
- Monitors well control parameters and calculations before and during job applications.
- Mentor peer and train Equipment Operator 2 and below.
- Communicates effectively with co-workers, supervisors and customers
- Promotes and takes an active part in the Quality Improvement Process
- Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of experience as Equipment Operator, specifically in Coiled Tubing and Pumping Services, as well as Oil & Gas Servicing experiences
- Minimum Diploma certification
