ERP D365 Specialist / ERP Exec

Job Summary

responsible for end-to-end functional ownership and operational support of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) for manufacturing operations. The role ensures functional correctness, data integrity, system governance, and alignment between business processes and system design—particularly across product configuration, BOMs, routings, and manufacturing workflows.

This role acts as the key functional bridge between Engineering, Production, PPC, Logistics, Finance, sales tools, and global ERP stakeholders, while owning UAT readiness, functional validation, and manufacturing data governance.

Duties And Responsibilities

• D365 Functional Ownership & Governance
• Own the functional design, correctness, and governance of D365 manufacturing-related processes.
• Define, maintain, and enforce standards for product configuration models, BOM structures, and routing setup.
• Ensure manufacturing data integrity, consistency, and version control across environments.
• Act as the primary functional interface with global ERP teams, CGI/Microsoft partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Product Configuration, BOM & Routing Management
• Manage and maintain product configuration models, including attributes, constraints, calculations, BOMs, and routings.
• Create, modify, and govern multi-level BOMs and routings to support manufacturing and planning accuracy.
• Ensure accuracy of configuration-driven pricing, BOM explosion, and manufacturing outputs.
• Manufacturing & Operational Support
• Support production, planning (MRP), and manufacturing operations by troubleshooting D365 functional issues.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, PPC, Logistics, Finance, and Sales to resolve system-related challenges.
• Participate in production, ERP, and product management meetings to provide system insights and recommendations.
• UAT, Testing & Deployment
• Own UAT functional readiness, test scenario validation, and final functional sign-off prior to production deployment.
• Ensure proper testing, documentation, and business validation for all manufacturing-related changes.
• System Integration & Documentation
• Support integration between D365, HST (Halton Sales Tool), and HMPCE to ensure accuracy in pricing, configuration, and BOM data.
• Prepare and maintain ERP documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and functional guidelines.
• Promote best practices in ERP usage and data discipline across manufacturing functions.
