Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented Esports Manager to work closely with our partners and the team to manage our licensed 3rd party tournaments and its ecosystem. Providing top tier project management and cross team communication experience is key for this position. The ideal candidate is self-driven and detail oriented, has in-depth experience with esports, as well as business development and partnership management.
Responsibilities:
- Building standard and maintain the approval process of 3rd party tournaments, leading and building a sustainable 3rd party eco-system.
- Responsible for the planning of Global & Multi Regional 3rd party tournaments. Leading the communication with the partners, organizers and regional teams to make sure the events are launched successfully with proper registration and viewership goal.
- Provide guidelines and support to regional teams for regional 3rd party tournaments.
- Weekly/Monthly high level overview reports on 3rd party tournaments with progress of approved tournaments, status of applied applications and KPIs of finished events.
- Develop and expand new 3rd party tournament business opportunities with key partners including Pro Orgs, Brands, Potential Sponsors, Media platforms, Organizers to fulfill the eco-system
Qualification
- 3+ years experience with project management, esports/sports related projects are preferred.
- 3+ years experience working in esports or other live events and/or league
- Experience with business development and partnership management.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Impeccable organizational, problem-solving and time-management abilities
- Experience in working with people with different culture and background
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin (Chinese) languages
- Strong understanding in action mobile games, E.G: PUBG
