ETL Test Engineer

Description

We are seeking an experienced ETL Test Engineer to join our dynamic team in Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ETL testing, data quality assurance, and a passion for ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ETL processes to extract data from various sources and load it into target systems.
• Execute and maintain test cases for ETL processes to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation activities to ensure data quality across systems.
• Collaborate with data engineers and business analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into testing scenarios.
• Identify and report defects, and work closely with the development team to resolve issues.
• Document test cases, test results, and maintain testing logs for audit purposes.

Skills and Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in ETL testing or data quality testing.
• Strong knowledge of ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or Microsoft SSIS.
• Proficiency in SQL for data validation and querying databases.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and architectures.
• Experience with data modeling concepts and methodologies.
• Familiarity with data governance and data quality frameworks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
