ETL Test Engineer

We are seeking an experienced ETL Test Engineer to join our dynamic team in Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data testing and quality assurance, ensuring that our ETL processes run smoothly and data integrity is maintained.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute ETL test cases to ensure data integrity and quality across various data sources.
• Collaborate with data engineers and developers to understand data transformations and create test scenarios.
• Perform data validation and verification to ensure data is loaded correctly into the target systems.
• Identify, document, and track defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
• Prepare test data and maintain testing environments for ETL processes.
• Participate in requirement analysis and provide feedback on ETL processes and data quality standards.

Skills and Qualifications

• 3-8 years of experience in ETL testing or data testing.
• Proficient in SQL and database concepts to validate data and write complex queries.
• Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or similar.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of automation testing tools for ETL processes is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders and team members.
