EV & Energy Test Solution Technical Lead

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with Project Manager to manage project scope, schedules, cost, risks, and quality commitments.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the NPI and custom project lifecycle for EV charging and energy storage/conversion solutions.
• Review, validate, and optimize solution designs, layouts, and technical documentation to ensure accuracy and value added to customers.
• Maintain and continuously improve internal technical standards, document control processes, and data management systems.
• Serve as a mentor and primary technical resource for junior solution architects.
• Ensure all engineering outputs comply with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead technical aspects in pre-sales activities, including providing inputs for System configuration and software architecture, Statements of Work (SoWs), and Requests for Quotation (RFQs).
• Work in partnership with the Regulatory team to ensure product compliance with safety and certification standards.
• Participate in design reviews and risk assessments to proactively identify and mitigate potential issues.
• Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in EV charging and energy storage/conversion technologies.
• Involve in the company at tradeshows, customer training sessions, and webinars.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the EV charging or power conversion industry.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards (e.g. IEC 61851, ISO 15118) and the ability to translate requirements into design specifications and corresponding test plans/cases.
• Familiarity with system-level manufacturing processes and test setup requirements.
• At least 2 years of experience supporting presales technical activities and engaging with customers.
• Proven ability to independently develop effective test solution proposals.
• Demonstrated creative and critical thinking skills with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Willingness to travel as required.
