Position Overview

The Event & Client Development Executive plays a pivotal role in driving business growth and delivering exceptional event experiences for clients. This position focuses on developing strong client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and coordinating end-to-end event planning and execution. The ideal candidate is organized, creative, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The role requires confidence in presenting ideas, managing multiple stakeholders, and ensuring seamless on-ground execution from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

Client Development & Relationship Building

  • Identify, approach, and develop new business opportunities.
  • Build long-term relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present creative pitching decks and proposals to clients.

Event Planning & Coordination

  • Plan and manage full event timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution.
  • Conduct site recces, attend rehearsals, and manage on-ground event operations.

Presentation & Proposal Preparation

  • Confidently present ideas, event directions, and concepts to clients.
  • Prepare clear and professional quotations, cost breakdowns, and event outlines.

Execution Excellence

  • Oversee event setup, flow, stage management, and teardown activities.
  • Handle last-minute changes calmly and professionally.
  • Ensure clients receive a seamless and satisfying experience throughout the event cycle.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Female candidate preferred.
  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, PR, Event Management, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 23 years of experience in events, marketing, or client servicing roles.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English & Mandarin (Bahasa Malaysia is a plus).
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Canva, Excel, and Google Suite.
  • Own transport and willing to travel for meetings, site visits, and events.
  • Willing to work overtime, weekends, or public holidays when events require.
  • Positive attitude, detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working under pressure.
