Job Description: Event Sales Executive (2–3 Years Experience) - Mandarin Speakers
Salary Range: RM5,000 – RM6,000
Location: Selangor / Klang Valley
Industry: Event Management & Experiential Marketing
Language Preference: Mandarin-speaking candidates preferred (to support Chinese-speaking clients)
Role Summary
We are looking for a hands-on Event Sales Executive with 2–3 years of event management experience who understands how to manage client expectations, coordinate event execution, and follow through from briefing to completion.
This role focuses on event projects (roadshows, mall concourse events, launches, activations, exhibitions, and corporate events), not POSM-only work. The candidate must be confident handling timelines, vendors, setup coordination, and client servicing throughout the event lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Servicing & Relationship Management
- Follow up with existing and potential clients
- Understand client objectives and event requirements clearly
- Provide professional consultation on event execution strategies
- Maintain strong long-term relationships with corporate clients
2. Event Planning & Coordination
- Manage event projects from briefing to completion
- Coordinate with internal teams (design, production, operations)
- Work closely with vendors and mall/event venue management
- Monitor setup progress and ensure smooth onsite execution
- Handle last-minute adjustments professionally
3. Proposal & Budget Coordination
- Assist in preparing quotations and proposals
- Align client budget with execution feasibility
- Work with internal departments to control costs
- Ensure projects meet company GP expectations
4. Project Monitoring & Reporting
- Track timelines and deliverables
- Ensure all departments are aligned before event setup
- Attend site visits and rehearsals when required
- Provide post-event updates and feedback
Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years experience in event management industry
- Experience handling roadshows, mall events, launches, activations, exhibitions, or corporate events
- Must understand event workflow from concept to dismantling
Skills

- Able to multitask under tight timelines
