We are seeking an experienced and dynamic
Event Manager to plan, organize, and execute a wide variety of events. The ideal candidate will excel in
project management, sponsorship development, promotion strategies, and vendor coordination, ensuring every event is delivered seamlessly and exceeds expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and run sheets for all events.
- Plan, execute and oversee all aspects of event preparation, including venue sourcing, vendor engagement, event setup and teardown, dcor, catering, technical production, and entertainment.
- Lead sponsorship planning and management, including identifying potential sponsors, preparing proposals, managing sponsor relationships, and ensuring sponsorship deliverables are fulfilled.
- Plan and execute event promotion and marketing activities, working closely with internal marketing teams and external partners to drive attendance and brand visibility.
- Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams (management, marketing, sales, operations, and finance) to understand event objectives and ensure alignment.
- Manage external stakeholders, including sponsors, vendors, suppliers, partners, and service providers, ensuring clear communication and smooth collaboration.
- Develop, manage, and monitor event budgets, ensuring cost control, accurate tracking, and post-event reconciliation.
- Lead and supervise event teams, including coordinators, support staff, vendors, and volunteers.
- Negotiate contracts and manage agreements with venues, sponsors, vendors, and suppliers, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
- Oversee on-site event operations, ensuring smooth execution and quick resolution of any issues or last-minute changes.
- Conduct post-event evaluations and reports, including performance analysis, stakeholder feedback, and improvement recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in event planning and management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; Mandarin is an added advantage.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
- Proven experience in sponsorship management, vendor coordination, and event promotions.
- Strong budgeting, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to fast-changing environments.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Willingness and ability to travel for event-related activities.
