We're looking for an organised, proactive, and execution-driven Events Associate to join Moom Health in Malaysia. This role is for someone who can own and execute end-to-end community events and activations. You'll be responsible for ensuring all Moom events run smoothly, deliver a strong on-ground experience, and are executed consistently at a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
The Events Associate at Moom is best suited for someone who is organised, dependable, and comfortable handling on-the-ground execution. This role is hands-on and focused on making sure events run smoothly from start to finish.
- Ideate, own and execute Moom's community events and activations in Malaysia (typically 2–3 per month).
- Manage venue coordination, vendors, setup, inventory, event sponsorship and on-site operations.
- Work closely with the PR team to coordinate KOL attendance and event requirements.
- Support partner-led events and ensure all deliverables are executed properly.
- Keep event timelines, checklists, and trackers updated and organised.
- Handle real-time problem solving during events to ensure smooth execution.
- Be responsible for ensuring each event runs smoothly and meets expected attendance and experience standards.
Who are you
- You are someone who is reliable, practical, is willing to get their hands dirty, and is comfortable working behind the scenes to make things happen. You pay attention to details, stay calm under pressure, and take ownership of your work.
- You are comfortable with a consistent event cadence and being on the ground when needed, including evenings and weekends. You don't mind rolling up your sleeves to handle on-site logistics and have a creative eye to do decor and visual merchandising, when needed.
What we're looking for:
- 1-2 years of experience in events, community management, or brand activations.
- Strong execution skills with the ability to manage multiple timelines and vendors, end-to-end.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and reliable.
- Comfortable working on-site and handling event logistics independently.
- Confident communicator, comfortable working with external partners and representing the brand.
- Enjoys a fast-paced, hands-on environment (evenings and weekends required for events).
