Excel & Reporting Analyst (6-month Contract)

A leading global professional services firm is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical professional with strong Microsoft Excel skills to support its regional Staffing Operations team.

This role focuses on data management, reporting, analysis, and coordination with internal teams. We are looking for someone who is highly proficient in Excel, comfortable working with large datasets, and able to produce accurate reports independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and analyze staffing data using advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Prepare regular management reports, dashboards, and data trackers.
• Use advanced Excel formulas, PivotTables, and Power Query to analyze and consolidate data.
• Analyze workforce utilization, billability, capacity, and leave trends.
• Reconcile timesheet and staffing data with Finance to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain weekly MIS reports and ensure data consistency.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and automate manual reporting processes.
• Support ad hoc reporting requests from internal teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, or a related field.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in reporting, data analytics, operations, or a similar role.
• Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential, including: (1) XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, and nested formulas. (2) PivotTables, data cleaning, and data reconciliation. (3) Power Query and handling large datasets.
• Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Experience with Power BI, VBA, or reporting automation is an advantage.
