Job Description
Location: Pasir Gudang, Johor
Work Employment: Fixed-Term Contract (12months)
JOB PURPOSE
Provide technical application support across MMHE business and corporate applications to maintain stability, performance and availability. The role focuses on technical troubleshooting, incident diagnostics, environment checks, and support for integration/interfaces in coordination with ICT teams and vendors.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform technical investigation, log analysis and environment checks for application incidents.
- Support root cause analysis and propose corrective actions with internal teams/vendors.
- Support monitoring activities and health checks for assigned applications/environments.
- Escalate abnormalities and coordinate recovery actions.
- Support technical steps during deployments (pre-checks, backups, post-checks) as assigned.
- Validate fixes/patches and assist in rollback planning where applicable.
- Support troubleshooting for interfaces/integrations (file transfers, API issues, scheduled jobs) within assigned scope.
- Coordinate with infrastructure/security teams for connectivity and access matters.
- Maintain technical runbooks, known error database and troubleshooting guides.
- Ensure support records are complete for audit and continuity.
- Follow ICT governance and cybersecurity requirements in technical support activities.
- Support vulnerability remediation tasks and audit evidence collection as assigned.
- Ensure adherence and fully complied to HSE requirements in related work activities among respective discipline personnel through regular briefings/site walkabouts/ departmental meetings with the objective of inculcating HSE awareness as part of the work culture.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years experience in application technical support or systems support.
- Knowledge of troubleshooting, logs, integrations and basic infrastructure concepts is an advantage.
