Job Description

  1. To ensure stores activities are operated smoothly and according to the Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Manage to handling product quality, stores cleanliness and quality staffs and hygiene.
  • Check bank-in reports of stores to ensure daily sales takings are banked in on time.
  • Monitor and ensure smooth daily operation at the stores assigned.
  • Verification of stores requisitions which includes stock take report, petty cash, claim, payroll, hiring of part time.
  • Ensure Store Opening, Closing and sales transactions are in line with the SOP.
  • Conduct ROR (Review of Operations Risks) on food safety, SOPs, product quality and health risks to ensure compliance to required standards.

2. To train, guide & coach service staff including counseling whenever required.

  • Responsible for employee's performance & discipline.
  • Plan & schedule work shift for store staffs

3. Responsible in renewing stores license with Majlis Perbandaran.

4. Ensure overall retail outlets operations are managed effectively to achieve sales targets, maximize profitability and productivity, increase customer satisfaction, and ensure continuous business growth. It also including the monitoring and execution of marketing program.

5. Manage customer complaints promptly and take effective action to prevent a recurrence of such complaints.

6. Must be fast and precise in identifying solutions to address employee performance-related challenges.

7. Monitor and control the operational expenses and budgets

8. Able to plan sales promotion & marketing initiative

  • Generate strong brand awareness & pull at the end-user level via POSM, digital, and trade marketing activities to increase the demand for our products
  • Work with in-store merchandisers to ensure the best POS strategy, product display, pricing, etc. to maximize our brand positioning & sales in a retail store.

9. Ensures identification of obsolete/slow moving stock and obtain management approval on markdowns and product discounts to ensure stock is liquidated as per retail /brand/category guidelines.

10. Able to travel to several stores.Ensure retail outlets are visited regularly to ensure the outlets are managed effectively and efficiently.

11. To conduct competitor surveys on the product's features, prices, and the activities that are taking place in other surrounding outlets.

Qualifications

  • Certificate, Diploma or Degree
  • Knowledge about officeSuites
  • 1 - 3 years in retail operation
