Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Executive position based in Shah Alam. We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in international studies or related fields and possess the skills to support regional workforce programs, initiatives, and strategic projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of regional workforce development programs and initiatives.
  • Conduct research and provide insights on international workforce trends, policies, and best practices.
  • Support engagement and collaboration with ASEAN member countries, government agencies, industry partners, and educational institutions.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, briefing notes, and other communication materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Assist in organizing regional workshops, webinars, conferences, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Maintain and update project databases, records, and documentation in compliance with organizational standards.
  • Support the development of strategic proposals, funding applications, and partnership agreements.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration within the council and with external partners.
  • Represent AFWC in meetings, forums, and events as required, ensuring a professional and positive image.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation, process improvement, and enhanced program impact.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in International Relations, International Business, Global Studies, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of ASEAN initiatives, workforce development, and vocational skills.
  • Excellent communication, research, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional ASEAN languages is a plus.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel regionally as required.
