We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Executive to support financial operations, including invoicing, cash flow management, and compliance, while contributing to the overall efficiency of the finance function.
Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Executive to manage day-to-day financial operations and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, hands-on experience with financial systems, and the ability to support strategic financial planning.
Key Responsibilities
1. Finance Operations Support
- Support the day-to-day operations of the finance department
- Assist in ensuring compliance with internal policies and financial procedures
- Coordinate with internal teams on finance-related matters
2. Invoicing, Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
- Prepare, review, and issue customer invoices accurately and on time
- Monitor AP and AR and follow up on outstanding payments
- Ensure billing aligns with client contracts and company policies
3.Cash Flow & Treasury Support
- Assist in managing daily cash flow activities
- Support preparation of cash flow forecasts and variance tracking
- Liaise with banks on basic transactions and reconciliations
4.Taxation & Compliance
- Support corporate tax activities, including basic cross-border transactions and withholding tax matters
- Assist in ensuring compliance with Malaysian tax regulations and relevant international requirements
- Work with external auditors and tax advisors during audits and reporting
5.Financial Reporting & Accounting
- Maintain accurate accounting records and timely financial entries
- Process vendor payments, staff claims, and petty cash
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Support statutory audits, tax submissions, and regulatory compliance
6.Business Support
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost monitoring
- Provide basic financial analysis to support business decisions
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Able to speak
- Basic knowledge of invoicing, cash flow management, and financial reporting
- Exposure to taxation (Malaysian and/or international) is an added advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (e.g., SAP, SQL, or equivalent)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to start immediately
