We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Executive to support financial operations, including invoicing, cash flow management, and compliance, while contributing to the overall efficiency of the finance function.

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Executive to manage day-to-day financial operations and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, hands-on experience with financial systems, and the ability to support strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities

1. Finance Operations Support

  • Support the day-to-day operations of the finance department
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with internal policies and financial procedures
  • Coordinate with internal teams on finance-related matters

2. Invoicing, Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable

  • Prepare, review, and issue customer invoices accurately and on time
  • Monitor AP and AR and follow up on outstanding payments
  • Ensure billing aligns with client contracts and company policies

3.Cash Flow & Treasury Support

  • Assist in managing daily cash flow activities
  • Support preparation of cash flow forecasts and variance tracking
  • Liaise with banks on basic transactions and reconciliations

4.Taxation & Compliance

  • Support corporate tax activities, including basic cross-border transactions and withholding tax matters
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with Malaysian tax regulations and relevant international requirements
  • Work with external auditors and tax advisors during audits and reporting

5.Financial Reporting & Accounting

  • Maintain accurate accounting records and timely financial entries
  • Process vendor payments, staff claims, and petty cash
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Support statutory audits, tax submissions, and regulatory compliance

6.Business Support

  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost monitoring
  • Provide basic financial analysis to support business decisions
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and efficiency

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Able to speak
  • Basic knowledge of invoicing, cash flow management, and financial reporting
  • Exposure to taxation (Malaysian and/or international) is an added advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (e.g., SAP, SQL, or equivalent)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to start immediately
