The Executive Assistant supports the General Manager and executive team with the administrative precision that keeps the hotel's leadership running smoothly. This role handles correspondence, reporting, and day-to-day coordination with the same discretion and care that defines every guest interaction, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks behind the scenes.

YOUR DAY TO DAY
People
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the General Manager and executive team, prioritising and coordinating competing demands
- Prepare reports, presentations, and statistical summaries for managers as needed
- Attend, transcribe, and distribute minutes for staff, executive committee, and department meetings
- Create and maintain department files, records, and correspondence
- Compose, produce, and distribute correspondence on routine matters, and act as first point of contact for the General Manager's office, handling calls and enquiries professionally
- Ensure VIP amenity requests from the General Manager are handled in a timely manner
- Provide service that goes above and beyond to support guest satisfaction and retention
- Maintain the quality and standards expected by guests and executive stakeholders in all day-to-day interactions
- Attend meetings and communicate with executives and peers to continuously improve service quality
- Communicate the importance of safety procedures, ensuring understanding of safety codes and monitoring related processes
- Analyse information and evaluate options to solve problems and support sound decision-making
- Coordinate and manage activities across departments, gathering the information needed to achieve goals and resolve issues
- Sign for managers and release documents only with specific permission, maintaining discretion and accuracy
- Reliable administrative and organisational support to the General Manager's office
- Accurate, timely handling of correspondence, records, and meeting documentation
- Discreet, professional representation of the General Manager's office in all internal and external interactions
- To thrive in this role and bring poise and precision to the guest journey, you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Secretarial Studies, Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related field
- No prior work experience required
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent English required; other languages an advantage
