Job Description

Position objective:

The position supports the execution of brand, content and communications strategies for AHAM Capital and its subsidiaries. Working closely with the team, the role contributes to content development, website and digital channel management, campaign implementation, performance reporting, and the development of creative ideas that strengthen brand engagement.

The position is also responsible for maintaining a consistent brand voice and ensuring that communications comply with brand standards, internal approval processes, regulatory requirements, and the Securities Commission Malaysia's applicable advertising guidelines.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Brand and Campaign Support
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support the development and execution of brand identity, messaging and positioning, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Support the creation, maintenance and application of brand assets, including visual identity materials and brand guidelines, to maintain a strong and cohesive brand image.
  • Assist in executing brand and communications initiatives related to product development, product enhancements, distribution channels, advertising programmes and other business objectives.
  • Work closely with the team to develop fresh, relevant and engaging ideas for brand initiatives, campaigns, content and digital communications.

  1. Content Development and Management
  • Develop, edit and proofread written content for websites, digital channels, campaigns, presentations and other communications materials.
  • Create, resize and adapt visual assets using Canva for digital channels, presentations, campaigns and other communications materials in accordance with established brand guidelines.
  • Maintain and update website and digital channel content regularly to ensure communications remain timely, accurate, relevant and brand-consistent.
  • Work with the team to maintain content calendars and coordinate internal reviews and approvals to support the timely publication of content.
  • Support the day-to-day publishing and management of content across the organisation's digital channels.

  1. Brand, Regulatory and Quality Compliance
  • Review and quality-check content and visual materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, appropriate tone of voice and adherence to brand standards.
  • Ensure that content complies with applicable regulatory requirements, including the Securities Commission Malaysia's Guidelines on Advertising for Capital Market Products and Related Services.
  • Follow established internal review and approval processes before content and campaign materials are published or distributed.

  1. Performance Monitoring and Reporting
  • Conduct daily media monitoring across relevant print, online and broadcast channels, and highlight significant coverage, emerging issues and brand-related developments to the team.
  • Track and analyse website traffic, digital channel performance, brand initiatives and campaign results using relevant analytics tools.
  • Prepare monthly and campaign-based performance reports, highlighting key findings, trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Work with the team to recommend content, campaign and channel improvements based on performance insights and audience engagement.
  1. Stakeholder and Project Coordination
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support the timely delivery of assigned projects and communications materials.
  • Manage multiple assignments and follow up on deliverables, reviews and approvals to ensure agreed timelines are met.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies in branding, content, communications and digital platforms, and contribute ideas that support continuous improvement and innovation.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or a related field.
  • At least one (1) year of relevant experience in branding, communications, content development, digital channel management or campaign support. Experience in financial services would be an advantage.
  • Good command of written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate and present ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Good writing, editing and proofreading skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Able to contribute creative, practical and audience-relevant ideas for content, campaigns and brand initiatives.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to support the translation of business objectives into effective brand, content and communications initiatives.
  • Good project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proficient in Canva, with the ability to create and adapt visual content in accordance with brand guidelines.
  • Familiarity with digital publishing, performance measurement and analytics tools.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite applications, particularly Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, would be an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail when reviewing written content, visual materials, data and brand applications.
  • Able to work effectively within structured content review, approval and regulatory processes.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, when required.
