About the role

The Executive, Business Development will be responsible for identifying business needs, analyzing key processes, and delivering data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making. The primary focus of this role is to act as a liaison between business stakeholders and licensing teams, ensuring that business requirements are clearly defined and effectively implemented. The role will lead efforts in gathering and analyzing large datasets, conducting comprehensive market research, and performing competitive landscape assessments to uncover opportunities for process optimization and business growth.

Key Responsibilities: -

  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify industry trends, emerging opportunities, and competitive landscapes, delivering insights that support the development of robust business cases and financial feasibility assessment
  • Assist in Identifying and evaluating licensing opportunities to enhance the company's pipeline, including technologies, compounds, and intellectual property.
  • Support due diligence on potential licensing partners, analyzing scientific, financial, and operational viability.
  • Assist in the coordination of in- and out-licensing discussions, including preparation of materials and support during negotiations.
  • Collaborate with legal and financial teams to support the preparation, review and coorfination of licensing agreements.
  • Work closely with commercial team to analyze market potential and the strategic fit of licensing opportunities.
  • Provide support in the development of long-term alliance management strategies to help maximize partnership value.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives by researching potential areas for expansion through partnerships or acquisitions.
  • Assist in monitoring the performance of existing alliances and helpidentify areas for improvement
  • Perform any other ad hoc tasks assigned by the management

About you

  • Must possess a Degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemistry or equivalent.
  • 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences environment. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply!
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Good communication and coordination skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory and compliance environments is an added advantage.
