Job Purpose:
To support the organization by facilitating the formulation of comprehensive feasibility studies, valuations, and in-depth property market research. Compile and analyze pertinent data crucial for strategic decision-making in advancing business development objectives.
Accountabilities:
Facilitate and contribute to the preparation of feasibility studies, including financial modeling, to assess the viability of proposed developments.
Conduct groundwork on planning and land matters, such as title searches and planning inquiries, to support market and feasibility studies.
Assist in the formulation of the annual business plan by managing the business planning and budgeting process. Prepare presentations and facilitate the creation of Board Papers for review and approval across organizational levels.
Identify and consolidate potential investments in land, property, and other developments to pursue new business opportunities. Develop detailed project plans outlining acquisition steps, milestones, timelines, and resource requirements.
Evaluate proposals from external parties regarding property acquisition and other business opportunities, providing recommendations to management.
Coordinate administrative tasks for the department, including the preparation of tender plans and documents, and managing payment processes.
Cultivate and sustain positive relationships with relevant government agencies, industry stakeholders, and external partners to facilitate networking and gather market intelligence.
Requirements:
Hold a minimum Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Accounting, Finance, or Business.
Possess 2 to 5 years of professional experience in property, corporate planning, business development, or strategy roles.
Demonstrate expertise in financial modeling and corporate valuation.
Proficient at an intermediate level in Microsoft Excel for spreadsheet management and PowerPoint for presentation creation.
Familiarity with intermediate-level skills in Power BI, VBA, or Tableau is considered advantageous.
