Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Selangor for an Executive Chef/Head Chef/Kitchen Manager. The role entails overseeing kitchen operations, managing food preparation and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation. Additional responsibilities include menu planning, cost management, supplier coordination and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The successful candidate will lead and train a team, ensuring efficiency and collaboration in delivering an exceptional dining experience for clients.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in culinary arts, including food preparation, menu planning and kitchen leadership
- Strong management and organizational skills for supervising kitchen staff, planning schedules, and maintaining kitchen operations
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the food service industry
- Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and coordinate with suppliers for inventory management
- Excellent communication skills to engage with clients and collaborate with diverse teams
- Culinary degree or certification is preferred
- Experience in catering services and knowledge of international cuisines are advantageous
- Adaptability to work in a multicultural and dynamic environment
