Executive Director, Mezzanine Capital Unit (Private Equity & Special Opportunities)

Responsibilities

• Work closely with internal business partners to originate investment opportunities and evaluate fit with investment mandate and bank strategy.
• Assist/ co-lead deal structuring and negotiation of investment terms, engage actively with investment committees to obtain buy-in, and carry out pre-investment due-diligence
• Prepare investment recommendations and due diligence findings to investment committee
• Design post-investment value creation plans and work with portfolio companies to optimise exit opportunities
• Monitoring and review of existing investments
• Ensure compliance in execution and monitoring of investment transactions.

Requirements:

• Good university degree
• Minimum of 10 years of investment experience or other relevant working experience in corporate relationship management, transaction advisory or consultancy. Experience in private equity, private debt and/or investment banking is an advantage.
• Highly hands-on and prepared to be actively involved in day-to-day execution.
• Must be comfortable with numbers and adept at financial analysis and modelling.
• Excellent relationship management, communication, and presentation skills
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills
