EXECUTIVE

Responsibilities

a) Conduct chemical testing and analysis both in the laboratory and at client sites in accordance with established methods.
b) Perform sample preparation, dilution, and preservation as per test requirements.
c) Assist in the development, validation, and modification of test methods based on technical needs.
d) Estimate and document measurement uncertainty for relevant parameters.
e) Ensure on-site and in-lab testing activities are conducted in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
f) Ensure all sampling activities are conducted professionally, following proper procedures and safety measures.
g) Oversee the handling, transport, and storage of samples to prevent contamination or loss.
h) Prepare and submit accurate field test reports and documentation in a timely manner.
i) Monitor lab and field work to ensure compliance with test methods, SOPs, and quality system requirements.
j) Maintain proper documentation, including technical and quality records.
k) Practice and enforce safe work procedures in the laboratory and during site jobs.
l) Guide and monitor junior staff during lab and field activities to ensure quality and safety.
m) Report any non-conformance or unsafe practice to the Lab Manager and take corrective action where needed.
n) Establish and maintain professional relationships with clients during on-site jobs.
o) Communicate courteously and effectively when explaining procedures, addressing concerns, or resolving issues.
p) Ensure proper operation, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory and field equipment.
q) Keep the laboratory and work areas clean, organized, and ready for audits or inspections.

Requirements

a) Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or related science field.
b) Minimum 2 years experience in laboratory and/or field testing preferred.
c) Familiar with ISO/IEC 17025 systems and test method compliance.
d) Able to work independently and travel for on-site sampling or testing assignments.
e) Good interpersonal and communication skills, especially for client-facing situations.
f) Committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in all technical work.
