Job Description

The Executive support the Faculty's alumni engagement and accreditation initiatives. The role assists in alumni relationship-building, planning and execution of alumni events, and collaboration with academic departments and stakeholders to strengthen engagement. The Executive also coordinates accreditation-related workshops, maintains accurate alumni data, analyses engagement insights, and assists with accreditation reporting and compliance documentation, while providing administrative support for faculty planning, monitoring, and evaluation activities.

The Executive reports to Manager/Assistant Manager - Accreditation. This role supports the strategic growth of alumni networks and the maintenance of top-tier accreditation standards.

KEY RESULT AREAS / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Manager/Assistant Manager in nurturing alumni relationships, fostering ongoing engagement with the Faculty and University.
  • Assist in planning and executing alumni events such as guest lectures, workshops, community service projects, etc.
  • Coordinate workshops on accreditation standards, ensuring that faculty, staff, students and alumni are aligned with requirements.
  • Support collaboration with academic departments and relevant stakeholders in implementing alumni engagement activities.
  • Assist in analysing alumni engagement data and compiling insights to support alumni engagement initiatives and accreditation reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation of accreditation reports by compiling data and maintaining required documentation.
  • Assist in managing alumni communications, including newsletters, digital outreach and social media updates to maintain active alumni engagement.
  • Maintain and update the accurate alumni database to ensure accurate and current records in support of both alumni engagement and accreditation reporting.
  • Assist in monitoring updates to accreditation requirements and compiling relevant information to support the accreditation process.
  • Execute administrative tasks that support the Faculty Office's planning, monitoring, and evaluation efforts.
  • Undertake any other tasks as assigned from time to time.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

MINIMUM ACADEMIC / PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION

Degree in any field.

RELATED EXPERIENCE

At least 2 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a higher education institution experience in accreditation-related work would be an added advantage.
