Position Overview
The role supports the growth of the company's foodservice business by managing day-to-day customer relationships, ensuring smooth execution of sales activities, and providing excellent service to HORECA, Bakery, Catering, and Distributor partners. This role is focused on sales execution, customer engagement, and operational support to achieve business targets.
Responsibilities
Sales Execution & Customer Management
- Manage assigned foodservice customers and support the BD Manager in achieving sales targets.
- Maintain strong relationships with assigned customers.
- Assist in negotiating deals, promotions, and contracts with customers.
- Ensure proper execution of trade programs, promotions, and activities in outlets.
- Handle day-to-day customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
Distributor & Market Support
- Work closely with distributors to ensure product availability and timely delivery.
- Support field visits and ensure visibility of products at customer outlets.
- Gather market intelligence on competitor activities and customer feedback.
- Support trade marketing via sampling, activation, etc.
Planning & Reporting
- Use customer relationship data to gain insights into customer behavior, sales performance, marketing effectiveness, and overall business health.
- Prepare sales reports, tracking performance against targets.
- Provide input on sales forecasts and assist with demand planning.
- Support marketing and trade marketing initiatives within the channel.
Education
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
Experience
2 - 4 years of experience in sales or account management, preferably in FMCG foodservice.
Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication/presentation skills.
- Customer-focused with good negotiation ability.
- Reporting and analytical skills.
- Commercially driven and results-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
