Job Title : Executive, Liability Underwriting

Job Summary:

Assist & support Head of Liability through effective planning, managing to achieve underwriting budget and underwriting profit in accordance with the company/regulatory guidelines or benchmark.

Job Description:

• Assessment of risk acceptance according to underwriting guidelines.

• Prepare Quotations/ modify Quotation Slips of risks.

• Assist to monitor the portfolio and metrics related to underwriting activities, processes and risk acceptance rules in accordance with data analytics.

• Assist to update the underwriting policies and procedures timely.

• Assist in execution of System implementations and perform UAT testing.

• Assist in Training and building technical knowledge within organization.

• Ensure effective and efficient administration of day-to-day business operations in line with SOP across all support functions.

• Assist to provide technical support for Distributions as and when required

• Full adherence to Underwriting Guidelines and work within Authority Limits.

• Ensure compliance with regulations and laws.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Insurance, Actuarial or related field

• Exposure and experience in Commercial Lines Underwriting is an added advantage
