Executive, Material Planning

• Maintain inventory to ensure paper stock availability for common items.

• Work with superior to assess and conduct regular reviews of slow-moving and unused paper stocks and consumables to optimize inventory levels.

• Partner with the Sales team to recommend alternative paper brands to minimize slow-moving inventory.

• Coordinate with third-party paper converters for the conversion of paper rolls into sheet stock.

• Work closely with the Purchasing team to manage stock levels and replenishment of packaging materials and consumables.

• Participate in daily production planning and monthly forecasting meetings to ensure adequate paper / material availability.

• Raise material requests through the ERP system.

• Support cycle counts, physical inventory exercises, and stock variance reconciliation activities.

• Maintain knowledge of production supply processes, including forecasting, inventory management, store ordering, operational requirements, and seasonal planning.

• Review and understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS) to ensure the safe handling and use of chemicals.

• Perform any other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Requirements:

• Diploma in any discipline or equivalent qualification.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in material planning and inventory management.

• Experience in demand forecasting and supply planning to meet business objectives.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
