Job Description :

Job Purpose .
The Solutions Analyst is to perform high level design work via articulating requirements into high level and detailed solutions. Manages requirement risk and seeks approval from the business/design authority to proceed with and identified solution.

Key Responsibilities .

Understanding requirements
1)Receive requirements from Demand Management and translate into technical specifications before rolling out to Business Units.
2)Assess design requirement and its fitness in the existing architecture environment in comply with the enterprise architecture standards.
3)Understand the architecture techniques including gap analysis and requirement gathering.
4)Gather, analyse and develop requirements specification and establish operational scenarios and concepts for vendor developed applications
5)Develop Functional Specifications Documents (FSD) to determine the specifications that is needed for vendor developed applications.
6)Prepare Configuration Information Request (CIR), i.e. to provide information on parameter change request before being implemented to SIT / UAT / Production environment.

Perform High Level Solutioning
1)Assist the Demand Management team, if needed, to develop High Level Solutions (including sections of HLS to be documented).
2)Work with the vendor team to develop High Level Solutions if required.
3)Validate High Level Solutions provided by Demand Management team (including sections of HLS to be documented) when required.
4)Assist in preparing Technical Specification Document, BCJ / BCW, if needed.
5)Coordinate the documentation of the high-level solution section by EAD team.
6)Assist in designing and developing solution architecture patterns and work with other team members in identifying common reusable patterns and standardize them across the group and country level for the identified business domain area.
7)Work collaboratively with solution developers to ensure technical solution meets customer requirements and leads to user satisfaction.
8)Prepare solution engineering documents for the programs and projects under the business portfolio by mapping various technology products into the architecture design for optimal design with sizing details by considering the business non-functional requirements in comply with the enterprise architecture standards.
9)Communicate the solution to the Demand Management team and ensure that the designed solution is successfully handed over and understood by the technical project team member.

Data Management
1)Refine data mapping table.
2)Define data conversion business rules.
3)Update the Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM).
4)Prepare Data Conversion Design (DCD).
5)Perform design for data conversion.

Defect Tracking
1)Analyse defects through joint effort with testing, business analyst and development team.
2)Resolve defect when necessary.
3)Reduce the number of defects arising over a period of time.

Source Code Process
1)Identify, monitor and respond to any technical risks.
2)Provide detailed interface specifications for the respective systems.
3)Provide infrastructure requirements for the end-to-end project lifecycle.
4)Determine source code owner.
5)Determine the need for vulnerability assessment (VA).
6)Determine the action taken based on the analysis result (liaise with PMO)
7)Check in the baseline source code for version control.

Other responsibilities
1)Provide some technical expertise advice in all aspects of the solution designing, including infrastructure and product (e.g. scalability, security, availability, integration).
2)Conduct periodical software application design reviews to ensure quality of the software applications at designed points along the SDLC.

Participate in Support Internal Alignment Activities
1)Participate in Periodic/Ad-Hoc Individual Alignment/Performance Sessions with team lead to discuss the following: -
a.Individual KPI Performance
b.Issues/concerns
c.Other matters

Any other responsibilities/tasks as assigned by the management from time to time.
