About the Role
Executive Payment Operations is responsible for supporting the daily management, control, and execution of end-to-end payment processing and settlement activities of PayNet retail payment productsincluding eSPICK, IBG, Direct Debit, JomPay, and DuitNow. The role supports the smooth operations of the Centralized Payment Processing Hub, ensures full compliance with regulatory and internal requirements. The position also provides operational guidance, and contributes to process improvements, system enhancements, and bank-wide initiatives through:

Responsibilities
- Process BAU activities assigned under Payment Operations, ensuring all tasks are completed within agreed TAT, error-free, and in full compliance with operational procedures, standard policies, guidelines, and work instructions.
- Prepare and post accounting entries accurately in accordance with established processes.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc reports as required by management or stakeholders.
- Perform end-of-day (EOD) and GL accounts reconciliation, ensuring no outstanding items or errors remain unresolved.
- Participate in BCP/DR exercises based on the planned schedule to ensure operational readiness.
- Review and update operational procedures and user guides annually to maintain accuracy and relevance.
- Handle internal and external customer enquiries and investigation cases professionally and within required turnaround times.
- Maintain proper filing and archiving of transaction records in accordance with the bank's documentation and archiving standards.
- Support process enhancement initiatives and participate in bank-wide projects aimed at improving efficiency and control.
- Execute UAT activities for system-related projects, enhancements, and defect fixes.
- Participate in industry-wide testing conducted by BNM/PayNet, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure documentation compliance, including timely and accurate filing as per the bank's archiving policy.
- Manage daily workload effectively and respond to operational queries and emails promptly.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and training to junior staff on BAU matters to enhance team competency.
- Demonstrate effective communication within the team and escalate system glitches, operational risks, or payment issues promptly.
- Assist other units within Treasury & Payment Operations/Wholesale Banking Operations as and when operational support is required.
- Provide relief support for Payment Operations, performing maker or checker roles as assigned.
- Perform any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Unit Head or Head of Department.
- Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality services to customers by meeting or exceeding expectations as defined in the Service Level Agreement (SLA), while maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and sound business judgment in all processes.
- Support business expansion initiatives, including the roll-out and implementation of new company policies, frameworks, and strategic initiatives as required.
- Prevent operational and reputational losses by ensuring full awareness of and adherence to all established rules, regulations, policies, guidelines, procedures, practices, and the Group's Code of Conduct.
- Collaborate with IT, Risk Management, and Internal Audit teams in planning, coordinating, and executing Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) exercises to ensure operational resilience.
- Strive for zero audit findings through strong operational controls, timely remediation, and continuous improvement of processes.
- Ensure full compliance with Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM)s Management of Customer Information and Permitted Disclosures Policy, safeguarding confidentiality and proper handling of customer data.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business studies / Administrator / Finance / Accountancy / Banking or equivalent with at least 1 years experience.
- Minimum qualification Diploma in Accounting/ Finance / Business Administration / Information Technology / Computer Science / any other related qualifications with at least 5 years experience.
Required Skills
- Must have at least 1 years working experience in similar environment.
- Candidates with operational banking experience are preferred.
- Candidates with good knowledge in handling Financial Institutional transactional related matter.
- Candidates with knowledge of Foreign Exchange Policy.
