This Executive role is pivotal in driving the bank's Auto Loans sales targets while upholding stringent compliance and operational standards. The individual is responsible for the end-to-end loan acquisition process, from client interview and application data entry to ensuring all documentation and disclosure requirements are met. This role requires excellent execution skills, strong relationship management with car dealers, and meticulous attention to detail concerning anti-money laundering and Know Your Customer (KYC) guidelines.
1. Sales and Business Execution (Functional)
Meet sales targets by securing new quality loans in line with Management decisions on the portfolio mix of products and customers.
Maintain a good business relationship with internal and external stakeholders, especially car dealers.
Interview applicants and conduct thorough Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures.
Perform data entry in the LOAD$ system, ensuring the data keyed in is complete and accurate.
Perform CTOS enquiry and complete the credit recommendation or write-up for the loan application.
Prepare proposals for panel dealership and other facilities applied by panel dealers.
Conduct site visits when required.
Handle additional ad hoc duties as assigned by Management at all times.
2. Compliance and Documentation
Ensure all documents for loan applications received from the dealer or customer are in accordance with guideline requirements.
Ensure authentication of identification, income, and vehicle documents.
Ensure consent is given by the customer before proceeding further on the loan applications.
Adhere to department Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in complying with audit, compliance, and regulatory guidelines.
3. Communication and Follow-Up
Constantly update dealers on the status of submitted cases on a daily basis.
Ensure timely issuance of Letter of Undertaking to dealers and follow up on the execution of the Hire Purchase (HP) Agreement and other related documents.
Serve the Product Disclosure Sheet (PDS) and brief the customer on the content of the HP Agreement, witnessing the execution of the Agreement compliance.
Investigate and follow up on cases that have been delayed for approval and disbursement.
4. Organizational Support (Managerial & Organizational)
Act as a buddy to new joiners and assist and provide guidance as needed.
Develop and manage the relationships with car dealers.
Support cross-sell efforts to provide referrals and leads for Hong Leong Group of companies.
Citizenship: Must be a Malaysian Citizen.
Education: Candidate must possess at least a SPM or O Level, Higher Secondary/STPM/A Level/Pre-U, Diploma, or Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Business Studies, Administration, Management, Commerce, Marketing, or equivalent.
Experience:
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, or those with a minimum of one (1) year of working experience in the Banking or Auto industry.
Skills and Attributes:
Good verbal and written communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to build business relationships with customers and car dealers.
Strong selling and negotiation skills.
Excellent in adaptability and execution skills.
