Job Summary
The Executive, Planning is responsible for ensuring the timely planning, scheduling, and availability of spare parts by managing Material Requirements Planning (MRP), monitoring inventory demand, and coordinating with key stakeholders. This role supports effective inventory management, planning accuracy, and operational continuity through proactive material planning and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute Material Requirements Planning (MRP) activities and maintain planning parameters to ensure timely issuance of Purchase Requisitions (PRs).
- Monitor and adjust material plans based on demand fluctuations, supply disruptions, and operational requirements to ensure material availability.
- Coordinate closely with Warehouse, Procurement, Suppliers, and Engineering teams to support inventory planning and stock availability.
- Prepare and analyse planning reports, including forecast accuracy, plan adherence, inventory performance, and material shortage risks.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning processes, inventory control, and supply chain efficiency.
- Prepare weekly and monthly planning performance reports for management review.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, or equivalent qualification in a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Inventory Management, Material Planning, or Supply Chain operations.
- Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems, inventory control, forecasting, and demand planning.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (Pivot Tables, Formulas, and Reporting).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Good communication, coordination, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Able to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and adapt to changing business requirements.
