Job Description

Job Purpose

To support and execute township development projects within Business Unit 3, covering planning, design coordination, authority approvals, and construction stages up to project completion and handover, ensuring delivery within the targeted timeline, budget, and quality standards.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Project Planning

  • Support the preparation of feasibility studies, including preliminary project assessments, cost considerations, and development potential.
  • Assist in evaluating design proposals and development concepts in collaboration with internal teams and appointed consultants.
  • Support preparation of project documentation, reports, and presentations for management review.

2. Project Implementation

  • Assist in coordinating project implementation in accordance with approved development plans, project timelines, and company standards.
  • Support monitoring of project progress, including site works, construction activities, and compliance with quality, environmental, safety, and health.
  • Assist in reviewing drawings, reports, and submissions prepared by consultants to ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Track project milestones and provide updates on progress, risks, and key issues.

3. Stakeholder Management

  • Liaise with internal departments (Planning, Sales & Marketing, Finance, Legal, etc.) to facilitate smooth project implementation.
  • Assist in coordinating submissions and obtaining approvals from relevant local authorities and agencies.
  • Support the coordination and monitoring of external stakeholders including consultants, contractors, and authorities to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

Accountability

  • Support the successful execution of development phases within the townships in Business Unit 3 by ensuring coordination of planning, design, approvals, and construction activities.
  • Monitor project progress and highlight potential risks or delays to ensure projects are delivered within agreed timeline, budget, and quality standards.
  • Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and compliance with internal procedures, regulatory requirements, and project governance.
  • Assist in resolving project implementation issues through coordination with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.

Education / Professional Qualification / Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or other related disciplines in Property Development.
  • 12 years of relevant working experience in property development, construction, or consultancy environment. Fresh graduates with strong internship exposure are encouraged to apply.
  • Basic understanding of the property development lifecycle, including planning, design coordination, authority approvals, and construction stages.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting, documentation, and presentations.
  • Familiarity with design and presentation software such as Adobe Photoshop, Canva, or Adobe Illustrator for preparation of project presentations and materials.
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or other technical drawing software.
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment.
