This role is responsible for coordinating day-to-day interline cargo operations to ensure smooth and timely movement of shipments across airline partners. The Executive will work closely with internal teams, airline personnel, ground handling agents, and freight forwarders to resolve operational issues, manage shipment documentation, and ensure compliance with regulatory and airline-specific requirements. This position also supports onboarding of new interline partners, maintains operational databases, and monitors partner performance to ensure service reliability and operational efficiency.

This role is open to fresh graduates who are keen to build their career in airfreight or logistics operations.

A DAY IN A LIFE

  • Resolve operational issues and discrepancies promptly to minimize disruptions in the supply chain
  • Collaborate with various departments to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency
  • Liaise with airline personnel, ground handling teams, and freight forwarders to ensure timely and efficient movement of cargo
  • Manage documentation, including air waybills, customs forms, and other required paperwork for international shipments
  • Monitor and track shipments daily to ensure RFU
  • Monitor and track shipments daily to ensure timely transfers to airline appointed CTO
  • Handle inquiries and resolve issues related to cargo, such as delays, damages, or missing shipments
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to optimize cargo loading, space utilization, and flight scheduling
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, security procedures, and airline-specific guidelines
  • Act as the point of escalation for interline-related service issues or contractual disputes
  • Conduct onboarding program with new interline partners
  • Maintain interline database and ensure information are up to date
  • Daily, Weekly, Monthly performance review of interline partners

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Aviation Management, or related field.
  • Open to fresh graduates; candidates with 1-3 years of experience in air freight, cargo handling, or logistics operations are encouraged to apply.
  • Basic understanding of air cargo documentation (e.g. Air Waybill, customs documentation) and international shipment processes is an added advantage.
  • Strong coordination and problem-solving skills to resolve shipment discrepancies, delays, or operational issues promptly.
  • Ability to monitor and track shipments daily to ensure timely transfers and operational readiness for uplift (RFU).
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills to liaise with airline personnel, ground handling agents, freight forwarders, and internal teams.
  • Willingness to learn safety regulations, security procedures, and airline operational guidelines.
  • Ability to manage documentation accurately and maintain up-to-date operational databases.
  • Able to support onboarding of new interline partners and track their performance on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic operational environment
