ROLE OVERVIEW
Join team and take charge of managing export shipments end-to-end. You will coordinate vessel/container bookings, haulage, and deliveries while ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with trade regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage export shipments, vessel/container bookings, and delivery planning.
- Ensure accuracy of Sales Orders and shipment data in D365 and related systems.
- Prepare and verify shipping and customs documents, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Liaise with shipping agents, freight forwarders, customers, and internal teams.
- Monitor vessel schedules, shipment status, and resolve exceptions like delays or damages.
- Control shipping costs, monitor demurrage/detention, and support rate negotiations.
- Track performance, expenses, and KPIs while supporting process improvements.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Minimum 12 years experience in shipping/export operations, fresh grads are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge of trade compliance, shipping documentation, and import/export processes.
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle high-volume shipments accurately and efficiently.
