Job Purpose
- Execute and monitor procurement activities for non-plant and turnaround requirements to ensure timely, efficient, and cost-effective operations.
- Collaborate with sourcing, category, and contract management teams to develop and implement sourcing strategies.
- Manage demand planning, tendering, and supplier performance to support procurement objectives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and leverage procurement systems and tools for effective data management, reporting, and decision-making.
- Continuously focuses on value creation, cost optimization, and improvement of turnaround procurement processes.
Key Accountabilities
1.Sourcing Strategy Development & Execution
- Develop and implement category sourcing strategies aligned with company policies.
- Guide supplier shortlisting, evaluation, and negotiations for optimal value creation.
- Monitor and ensure achievement of cost savings and strategic sourcing objectives.
2.Operational Sourcing Execution
- Manage RFx processes, tender evaluation, and award recommendations.
- Consolidate demand, validate supplier proposals, and ensure compliance with procurement procedures.
- Execute spot buys or ad-hoc requirements efficiently, ensuring alignment with operational needs.
3.Supplier & Contract Management
- Support contract management, supplier performance monitoring, and relationship management.
- Ensure compliance with contracts and company policies, identifying areas for improvement.
- Address supplier issues proactively to maintain uninterrupted supply
4.Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align sourcing initiatives with business needs.
- Facilitate communication and gain buy-in for procurement improvements and strategic initiatives.
- Serve as the point of contact for sourcing-related queries and decision-making support.
5.Procurement Data & Reporting
- Maintain accurate procurement master data in ERP systems.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and KPIs for leadership review and performance monitoring.
- Leverage data insights to support fact-based decision making.
6.Continuous Improvement & Compliance
- Identify opportunities to streamline procurement processes and increase automation.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Support initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency, performance, and value delivery.
7.HSE Compliance
- Exemplifies a commitment to prioritizing safety and adhering rigorously to OSHA rules and regulations.
- Must adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations related to Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) in the workplace.
Communications & Working Relationship
Internal
- Managers, Section Heads, and Procurement teams- to ensure alignment of sourcing strategies and operational execution
- Finance, Operations, and Plant teams- to gather demand requirements, validate budgets, and monitor procurement performance.
- Supplier Management teams -to ensure compliance and resolve operational issues.
External
- Suppliers and vendors-to manage proposals, negotiate terms, and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Market intelligence and industry benchmarking-to support sourcing decisions.
Qualification, Experience Requirement
1.Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Instrumentation & Control, Business, or Commerce; a Master's in Business Administration is preferred.
2.Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Procurement/Sourcing, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Proven expertise in analytical evaluation, stakeholder coordination, and operational execution of sourcing activities.
3.Knowledge
- Procurement & Sourcing Processes: Deep understanding of strategic and operational sourcing, category management, and requisition-to-pay cycles.
- Contract & Supplier Management: Knowledge of supplier evaluation, performance metrics, contract compliance, and negotiation principles.
- Market & Industry Trends: Awareness of supply market dynamics, geopolitical impacts, and industry best practices affecting procurement.
- Financial & Cost Analysis: Understanding of budgeting, spend analysis, and cost-saving methodologies.
- Risk & Compliance Management: Knowledge of supply chain risks, regulatory requirements, and internal procurement policies.
